✏️ Doodle Racer
Draw any track you can imagine on notebook paper, then race crayon cars around it!
How to play
- Pick a crayon and a track. Choose My Track to draw your own.
- To draw: drag one big loop with your finger or mouse until it says Long enough, then press Race it!
- The car drives forward on its own, so you only need to steer.
- Hold a finger or the mouse where you want to go, or use ← → or A and D.
- Grab ⭐ stars for a speed boost and dodge black ink blots.
- Stay on the white road: the paper around it slows you down.
- Three laps to the finish. Press ↓ or S to brake and P to pause.
A racing game you draw yourself
Most racing games hand you a track and tell you to learn it. Doodle Racer hands you a pencil. Drag a big loop across a page of notebook paper, press Race it, and your scribble turns into a real race track with three rivals waiting on the start line. Make it wiggly, make it a heart, make it your own name in joined-up writing if you can. If you can draw it in one line, you can race on it.
The game looks the way a kid's notebook looks in the back of a boring lesson: blue lines, a red margin, pencil shading, and cars that wobble as though somebody drew them in crayon. It runs in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to download and no account.
How to draw a good track
Press and hold anywhere on the page and start drawing. A green dot marks your starting point and a dashed line shows how the game will join your finish back to your start, so you never have to meet up perfectly. A counter tells you how much further to go, and once it says Long enough you can press Race it.
Big smooth curves are the fastest and most fun. Very tight wiggles are hard to steer through, which might be just what you want. Lines may cross over each other, so figure eights are fine, although cars will meet at the crossing. Your rivals will do their best on whatever you give them, and watching them attempt your wildest scribble is half the fun.
The game remembers your track on this device, so you can race it again later. Press Draw a new track whenever you have a better idea. My Track is purely for fun and does not earn any stars.
Eight doodled tracks to beat
If you would rather just race, the notebook already holds eight tracks, all open from the start. Bean is a gentle first loop. Peanut squeezes in the middle, and Star Doodle has five pointy corners. Squiggle does exactly what it says, and Figure Eight makes you watch out for cars at the crossroads. Snail Shell winds round towards the middle, Lightning is all sharp zigs and zags, and The Scribble is the toughest page in the book.
Easy for small hands
Doodle Racer is one of the simplest racing games on the site. The car always drives forward by itself, so there is no gas pedal to worry about. To steer on a phone or tablet, just hold your finger where you want the car to go, and it turns to follow. With a mouse it works the same way. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys or A and D, with the down arrow or S to brake.
That makes it a good first racing game for young children, and drawing their own track gives them something to be proud of. Older players can chase better lap times instead. Your best lap on each track shows up on the track list.
Stars and ink blots
The road has two things to watch for. Yellow stars sitting on the road give a big burst of speed for about a second and a half. Black ink blots slow you down, nearly halving your speed for a moment. Both come back a few seconds after someone drives over them, so your rivals will get caught too. Steering a little to grab a star is usually worth it. If you run off the road onto the plain paper, your car drops to half speed until you get back on.
Crayons to unlock
A win earns three stars, second or third place earns two, and fourth place earns one. Only your best result on each of the eight tracks counts, for up to 24 stars. You start with the Red Crayon. Five stars unlock the Blue Crayon, eleven the Green Marker and seventeen the Rainbow Pen, the quickest car in the notebook. Your stars are saved in your browser on this device.
Tips for faster laps
Look ahead of your car, not at it. On tight tracks, brake or ease your steering before a corner rather than in the middle of it, and remember that the minimap in the corner shows what is coming.
Rival cars bump you, but they do not stop you. If you get squeezed, keep steering towards the road ahead.
When drawing a track to race on, make the straight parts long and the corners wide if you want to set a fast lap. Add a tiny loop at the end if you want to trick your friends.
Play at school or at home
Doodle Racer runs in any modern browser with no download, which is why people look for it as an unblocked racing game. Whether it opens on a school or work network depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it will always be unblocked.

Frequently asked questions
How do I draw my own track?
Choose My Track and press Draw my track. Drag a big loop with your finger or mouse until the counter says Long enough, then press Race it. The game joins your finish back to your start for you.
Does my track need to be a perfect loop?
No. A dashed line shows how the game will close the gap between your end and your start. Your lines can also cross over each other.
Will my track be saved?
Yes, on this device, in your browser. It stays there until you draw a new one or clear your browser data.
Do I earn stars on my own track?
No. Stars only come from the eight notebook tracks, so nobody can draw a tiny circle to earn them. Your own track is just for fun.
Is there a gas pedal?
No. The car always drives forward, so you only need to steer. Press the down arrow or S to brake if you want to.
Is it good for young children?
Yes. One finger is all it takes to steer, and there is no violence or scary content. Young children often enjoy drawing the track as much as racing on it.
Is this game unblocked?
It runs in your browser with no download, but whether it opens at school or work depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it. If anonarcade.com opens, the game will work.
