How to play

  • Pick a car and a road, then press Hit the road!
  • Your car drives itself and keeps getting faster. Steer with A and D or ← and →.
  • Dodge the traffic. Each bump costs a ❤️, and with no hearts left the run is over.
  • Watch the FUEL bar. Drive through red ⛽ cans to fill up before it runs out.
  • Pass cars closely for near-miss points. A chain of them builds a bigger combo.
  • Near misses also fill NITRO. Press Shift or E to burn it and race ahead.
  • Grab 🪙 coins along the way. They stay with you and unlock new cars.

An endless racing game with somewhere to go

Many endless racing games are one stretch of road on repeat. Endless Road Racer 3D keeps changing the view. You set off through the fields of Green Valley, and every 1.4 kilometres you drive into a new land: the cactus and rock of the Red Desert, the white hills of Snowy Pass, the palm trees of Sunset Coast and then the glowing towers of Night City. After that the journey loops back around, only faster. Every run gives you a reason to get just a little further and see what comes next.

It runs in 3D in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to download or install and you do not need an account. A run can last thirty seconds or ten minutes, so it fits into any short break.

Just steer

There is no gas pedal, because the car drives itself and gradually speeds up as the distance climbs. All you have to do is steer across four lanes to find a gap in the traffic. That makes it easy for a young child to pick up. Staying alive when the road gets busy and you are doing over 200 km/h is another matter.

You can touch the brake to buy a moment when you are boxed in, but it costs you pace and it does not stop the fuel gauge. Sometimes a bump is better than a long slow-down.

Fuel: the thing that really ends runs

This is the main difference between this game and our other traffic racer, Highway Traffic Rush. Your tank is always running down, and a good driver can still run out. Every 600 metres or more, a red fuel can appears in one of the lanes, and each one puts back 42 percent of a full tank. If the fuel bar is low, you may have to steer through a dangerous gap to reach one. When the bar drops below a fifth, it flashes and a warning appears. If the tank runs dry, the run is over, however many hearts you have left.

Near misses and nitro

Safe driving is slow scoring. To get a big number you need to pass other cars as closely as you dare. Each time you shave past a car without touching it you score a near miss, and if you land another within four seconds your combo grows: 50 points, then 100, then 150 and on up. Bumping a car resets the combo to zero.

Near misses also fill your NITRO bar. Press Shift or E, or the NITRO button on a touch screen, to burn it. Your speed jumps by about a third, which covers distance quickly and scores faster, but leaves you much less time to react. Using it on an open stretch of road is a much better plan than using it in a crowd.

Hearts, not game over

You get three hearts in every run. A bump costs one heart and a lot of speed, and your car flashes for two seconds while nothing can hurt it. It is a kinder system than one crash and out, and it means younger drivers get to see more of the road before their run ends.

Three kinds of road

Sunday Drive has light traffic and a slow build-up, with a top cruising speed of about 165 km/h. Busy Road is the normal challenge, and it multiplies your score by one and a half. Rush Hour is packed and fast, cruising at up to about 240 km/h, and doubles your score. Each one keeps its own best score.

Coins and cars

Coins sit on the road in short lines, and they stay with you after every run. The starter is the Road Coupe. 150 coins unlock the Dust Rally, 450 the Blue GT and 1,000 the Gold Formula. Each new car steers faster and has a bigger fuel tank, which turns out to matter more than speed. Your coins and scores are saved in your browser on this device.

Tips for a longer run

Look far down the road, not just at the nearest car. Your next move should already be planned before you need it.

Keep to the middle two lanes when you can. From there you have a way out on both sides, and it takes much less time to reach a fuel can in any lane.

Trucks and buses are longer than they look, so leave extra room before cutting back in front of them.

If you are low on fuel, stop chasing coins and near misses until you have filled up. Reaching the next land is worth a bonus 500 points or more.

Can I play at school?

Endless Road Racer 3D runs in any modern browser with no download, which is why people look for it as an unblocked racing game. Whether it opens on a school or work network depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it will always be unblocked.

Frequently asked questions

Does the road ever end?

No. It runs through five lands and then loops back around, while your speed keeps climbing up to the top speed of the road you chose. The run ends when you run out of hearts or fuel.

How do I get more fuel?

Drive through the red fuel cans that appear in the lanes every 600 metres or more. Each one adds 42 percent of a full tank. Bigger cars have bigger tanks, so they last longer.

What is a near miss?

Passing very close to another car without touching it. It scores points, builds a combo if you land another within four seconds, and fills your nitro bar.

How many hearts do I get?

Three in every run. A bump costs one heart and a lot of speed. Your car then flashes for two seconds, and nothing can hurt it during that time.

How do I unlock new cars?

Collect coins on the road. They stay with you between runs. New cars unlock at 150, 450 and 1,000 coins.

Is this game unblocked?

It runs in your browser with no download, but whether it opens at school or work depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it. If anonarcade.com opens, the game will work.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. It runs in 3D with on-screen steering, brake and nitro buttons. It is free, with no sign-up.
