🎮 RC Car Racing 3D

Tiny cars, giant house: race past towering sofas and under the table, and don't let your battery run flat!

⭐ Stars: 0 / 18 🏆 Wins: 0 🏁 Races: 0

How to play

  • Pick an RC car and a room, then press Race.
  • When the lights go green, hold W or ↑ to go and steer with A and D or ← and →. Press S or ↓ to brake.
  • Follow the road around the room. Driving off it onto the floor slows you down.
  • Watch the BATTERY bar. It runs down as you drive, and when it is nearly empty your car slows right down.
  • Drive over a green CHARGE pad on the track to fill your battery back up.
  • Hold Space (SLIDE) through tight corners, then let go for a little burst of speed.
  • Win for 3 stars, reach the podium for 2 or finish for 1. Press R if you need to get back on the track.

An RC car game where the whole house is your race track

Everybody who has owned a remote control car has done it: built a track around the living room floor out of whatever was lying about. RC Car Racing 3D is that idea with no one telling you to tidy up. You drive a tiny radio-controlled car around a road laid across the floor, and the room towers over you. The sofa is the size of a block of flats, table legs rise like tree trunks, and a teddy bear watches from above like a friendly giant.

It plays in full 3D in your web browser on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to download and no account. It is simple enough for younger players, and the later rooms are a real test for anybody. Races are short, usually around two minutes, so it is very easy to say just one more go.

Watch your battery

Real RC cars run on batteries, and so does yours. The BATTERY bar at the top of the screen goes down whenever you hold the throttle. For most of the race you will not feel any difference, but when it falls below a fifth your car starts to slow, and with a flat battery it is left crawling at little more than half speed while the others go past.

To top up, drive over a green CHARGE pad. There are two on every track, and each crossing puts half a battery back. They stretch across most of the road, so they are hard to miss if you keep to the middle. Your rivals have spare batteries in the pits and never need to stop, so make sure you always have a pad in mind. Letting off the throttle saves power as well, so going flat out into a corner wastes more than time.

Handling a tiny car

RC cars are not like big cars. They weigh almost nothing, they get up to speed in an instant and they turn on the spot. That makes them twitchy, and most new drivers spend the first lap swinging from one side of the road to the other. The answer is to make small steering movements, and to let go of the keys sooner than you think you should.

Hold Space to slide. The back of the car swings out and you can get round the tightest bends. Hold the slide long enough and you get a little burst of speed as you let go. Yellow chevron pads on the road give you a free boost as well.

Six rooms to race in

Living Room is the place to start. It has a wide road, a giant sofa and a TV, and you drive right under the table. The Kid's Bedroom has soft blue carpet, a towering bed, teddies and building blocks, and much tighter turns. In the Kitchen the road crosses shiny tiles, so your car slides more, while the fridge looms overhead. The Back Garden takes you outside, where trees, a shed and a lawn mower stand over a bumpy road with three big jumps.

The Garage has you racing round tool boxes and paint tins in the shadow of a full-sized car. Finally, the Birthday Party is the longest race of all, with huge presents, a giant cake and balloons floating overhead. All six are open from the start.

Stars and RC cars

Win a race for three stars, finish on the podium for two, or simply finish for one. Your best result in each room counts, for eighteen stars in all. You start with the Mini Buggy. Four stars unlock the Monster Mite, nine the Rally Racer and fourteen the Pro Touring car, each of them quicker and grippier than the last. Your progress is saved in your browser on this device.

Tips for new drivers

Use the battery wisely. If you crossed the last pad with a fairly full bar and you are on the last lap, you can forget about it. If you are running low, stay in the middle of the road and make sure you get the pad, because crawling home on a flat battery costs far more time than any other mistake.

Try the cameras with C. The far camera shows more of the road ahead, which helps a lot on your first go at a new room. The low camera puts your eye right down at floor level, where you really feel how big everything is. It looks great, but it is harder to drive.

When you bump into the foam barrier your car loses speed, so it is often quicker to brake a little and stay off the wall. If you get turned round, press R and you will be put back on the road, pointing the right way.

Is it a good game for younger children?

We think so. There is no violence of any kind, nothing to buy and no chat. The controls are just four directions, and all the crashes do is slow you down. A younger player can have a great time just driving around the room looking at the giant toys, and there is no penalty for coming last. Finishing a race always earns a star.

Can I play this at school?

RC Car Racing 3D runs in any modern browser with no download, which is why people look for it as an unblocked racing game. Whether it opens on a school or work network depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it will always be unblocked.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when my battery runs out?

Your car keeps going, but at little more than half speed. Drive over a green CHARGE pad and it will put half a battery back. There are two pads on every track.

Do the rivals have batteries too?

They do not need to stop. Only your car has a battery bar, which is what makes planning your charge part of the game.

Can I drive onto the furniture?

No. You race on the road laid across the floor, with a soft foam barrier beside it. The giant furniture is there to look at as you race past, and in most rooms you drive under a table.

Is this game good for young kids?

Yes. There is no violence, nothing to buy and no chat. Crashes only slow you down, and every finish earns at least one star.

How do I unlock new RC cars?

Earn stars: 3 for a win, 2 for the podium and 1 for finishing. Cars unlock at 4, 9 and 14 stars.

Is this game unblocked?

It runs in your browser with no download, but whether it opens at school or work depends on that network's filter, so we cannot promise it. If anonarcade.com opens, the game will work.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. It runs in 3D with on-screen steering, go, brake and slide buttons. It is free, with no sign-up.
