🐾 Pocket Paws
Adopt a tiny pet, then check in to feed, play, and clean it.
How to play
- Pick a pet the first time you visit. It's yours from then on, saved on this device.
- Tap 🍖 Feed, 🎾 Play, or 🛁 Clean to take care of your pet's three needs.
- Needs slowly drop over time, more so if you're away for a while, so check in often.
- Your pet never runs away or gets "too sad" to save, it just needs a little love.
- Come back day after day to grow your care streak.
A virtual pet that runs on real time, not a countdown
Pocket Paws is a lightweight virtual pet game: pick a species once (cat, dog, bunny, or dragon) and then check in whenever you like to feed, play with, or clean your pet. What sets it apart from a lot of virtual pet apps is how the needs actually work: hunger, happiness, and cleanliness decay based on real elapsed time since your last visit, calculated from a saved timestamp, not a timer that only ticks while the game is open. That means checking in once a day genuinely matters, the same way it would with a real pet, rather than being something you can outsmart by leaving the tab open.
It's also deliberately forgiving. Needs can drop toward zero, but there's no death, no running away, and no state your pet can't recover from; a low stat is just a nudge to feed, play, or clean, not a countdown to losing your pet. Playing has a small trade-off too: it's the biggest happiness boost, but costs a little hunger and cleanliness, so the three needs stay genuinely connected instead of being independent counters.
Your pet, its stats, and your daily care streak are all saved locally in your browser with no account needed. If you like games that reward checking back in regularly, also try Tinker Town Tycoon, or see the rest of the Idle & Clicker Games category.
Frequently asked questions
Which pets can I adopt in Pocket Paws?
Cat, dog, bunny, or dragon. You pick once, and that pet is yours from then on, saved on this device.
Can my virtual pet die if I forget to check in?
No. Your pet's needs can drop, but there's no death or unrecoverable state; it just needs a little love the next time you visit. Needs decay based on real elapsed time since your last check-in, not a timer that only runs while the tab is open.
How do I take care of my pet?
Tap Feed, Play, or Clean to manage three needs. Play gives the most happiness but costs a little hunger and cleanliness, so it's worth balancing all three rather than spamming one.
Does Pocket Paws need an account?
No. Your pet, its needs, and your care streak are all saved locally in your own browser, with no sign-up required.
