Flight Simulator Games
Free 3D flight simulators you can play in a browser tab: fly a plane over tropical islands, hover a rescue helicopter, pilot an RC model, grease a crosswind landing, learn loops and rolls, or drive a flying car over the rooftops. No download, no account.
Sky Pilot 3D
Take off, fly the islands, and land it smooth.
RC Plane Flyer
Fly a model plane from the pilot box, just like at a real RC field.
Perfect Landing Pro
Fifteen approaches. One goal: grease the landing.
Stunt Plane Academy
Loops, rolls and airshows: learn real aerobatics.
Rescue Heli 3D
Hover, winch, and fly them home to the hospital roof.
Flying Car City
Drive it like a car. Fly it over the rooftops.
Plane Skimmer
Hold to climb, release to glide. Thread the gaps and grab stars along the way.
Flight Tower
Draw flight paths to guide colored planes safely to their matching runway.
Sky Rally
Steer through ring gates, dodge storm clouds, and race for the finish line.
3D flight simulator games
Sky Pilot 3D is the place to start. You fly over the Skyhaven Islands, which have three airports: a home field, a harbor strip and a runway on top of a mountain. Flight School teaches takeoff, a circuit through rings and a landing, one step at a time. Then try the Ring Race, Island Hop between all three airports, or pop balloons in Free Flight. You unlock a sport plane and then a jet as you earn stars. You can switch between chase, cockpit, wing and tower cameras at any time.
Perfect Landing Pro is a plane landing game with 15 approaches. They get harder as you go: crosswinds, gusts, fog, sunset and night runways with the lights on, and two engine failures you have to glide home. Every landing gets a score out of 100 for a soft touchdown, staying on the centerline, landing in the touchdown zone and stopping on the runway. PAPI lights next to the runway show if you are too high or too low, just like at a real airport.
RC plane simulator
RC Plane Flyer puts you in the pilot box at Maple Park, a model airfield, with a radio-control plane in the air in front of you. The hard part is the same as at a real RC field: when the plane flies toward you, left and right feel backwards. Fly a hoop course, pop 20 balloons against the clock, or try spot landings on a bullseye. You can also do loops, rolls, knife edge and prop hangs for trick badges. Watch the battery, because the motor stops when it runs flat.
Helicopter and flying car games
Rescue Heli 3D is a rescue helicopter game about hovering. You winch a swimmer out of the sea, pick a climber off a mountain ledge and pull three sailors off a sinking boat, then fly them to the hospital roof. Later missions have you carry a crate on a sling line and fight forest fires with a water bucket. Flying Car City is a flying car game you drive like a car. It floats between skyscrapers: pick up sky taxi passengers from rooftop pads, race through neon rings at night, or collect coins across the city.
Stunt plane games
Stunt Plane Academy teaches real aerobatics: the loop, the aileron roll, inverted flight, knife edge, the Immelmann and the split-S. The academy recognizes each maneuver as you fly it and gives it one to three stars. Next, fly an airshow with smoke trails in front of the crowd, or race low over the sea through 14 pylon gates.
Arcade plane games
Want something quicker? Plane Skimmer is a one-button plane game about threading gaps. Sky Rally is a race through ring gates, dodging storm clouds on the way. Flight Tower makes you the air traffic controller: draw paths that guide each plane to its own runway.
Every game works with a keyboard or a touchscreen and saves progress only in your own browser. Find more vehicles in Car & Driving Games and more planes in Plane Games, or see the Parents & Safety page for privacy details.
Frequently asked questions
Are these real flight simulators?
They are simplified flight simulators built for kids and beginners. Lift, stalls, throttle, crosswinds, glide paths and PAPI landing lights all behave the way they do in a real plane, but Flight Assist keeps the controls forgiving, and every game starts with lessons that teach one skill at a time.
Do I need to download anything or make an account?
No. Every game runs in a browser tab on a Chromebook, laptop, tablet or phone, with no download, plug-in or account. Stars, unlocked aircraft and best times are saved in your own browser only.
What are the controls?
In the planes, the arrow keys or W A S D pitch and roll, R and F set the throttle, Q and E work the rudder, and C changes the camera. The helicopter tilts and turns with the arrow keys and sidesteps with Q and E, and the flying car drives like a car and climbs with R or Space. On a phone or tablet, on-screen controls appear automatically.
Which game should a beginner start with?
Start with the Flight School lessons in Sky Pilot 3D: a takeoff, a circuit through rings, and a landing, with hints on screen the whole time. After that, try Perfect Landing Pro for landings, Rescue Heli 3D for hovering, or Stunt Plane Academy for loops and rolls.
Will these games run on a school Chromebook?
Yes. The 3D games use WebGL, which every Chromebook supports, and they lower their graphics detail automatically on slower devices to keep the frame rate smooth. There are no ads between flights, no chat and no sign-ups.
