13 real board and card games, one consistent system

Chess Arena and Kings Row are the two deepest pure-strategy games here, both with full rules (castling, en passant, and checkmate detection for chess; mandatory captures and multi-jump chains for checkers) and a real alpha-beta search AI that gets meaningfully stronger at each difficulty tier. Four in a Row and Triple Threat (tic-tac-toe, plus an Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe mode for two) are quicker, lighter strategy games, and Column Clash is a dedicated 2-player-only connect-4-style game for when you'd rather play a friend than the computer.

Backgammon Classic plays the full 24-point game with the bar, hitting, and the real exact-or-overshoot bear-off rule, and Ludo Race is the classic 4-color, 4-token dice race with capturing and safe squares, playable against 3 AI colors or with a friend seated opposite you. Naval Battle is a hidden-fleet hunting game with an AI that genuinely searches for your ships using a checkerboard pattern and line-following once it lands a hit, not blind luck.

Mancala Stones plays real Kalah rules, sowing stones counter-clockwise with captures and extra turns. Dominoes Duel deals a genuine double-six set of 28 tiles, and Yatzy Dice runs the full 13-category scoring pad with the standard upper-section bonus. Most games share the same AI difficulty system, the same top-down table view, and the same sound design, so switching between them feels consistent, and nearly every game supports local 2 Player pass-and-play for a friend on the same device.

Card games: Go Fish

Go Fish is the classic card game with a standard 52-card deck: ask for a rank, collect books of four and go fish when the answer is no, against one to four computer players on Easy, Medium or Hard (the Hard players remember every card you asked for). Go Fish for Kids uses picture cards of ten sea animals, collects pairs instead of books and reads every card aloud, so children who cannot read yet can play on their own. More fishing fun is on the Fishing Games page.

Frequently asked questions

Are these real board games, with real rules?

Yes. Every game plays its real, standard ruleset: chess has full castling, en passant, and checkmate detection, checkers has mandatory forced captures and multi-jumps, backgammon has the bar and the exact-or-overshoot bear-off rule, ludo has real capturing and safe squares, dominoes uses a real double-six set, and so on. Nothing here is a watered-down version.

Can I play against a friend instead of the computer?

Yes. Every game here has a 2 Player mode for local, same-device play, no account or second device needed. Naval Battle and Dominoes Duel use a pass-the-device prompt between turns to keep each player's hidden information private, Ludo Race seats 2 humans opposite each other with 2 AI filling the other colors, and Column Clash is a dedicated 2-player-only game.

How do the AI difficulty levels work?

Most games share the same 3-tier system: Easy plays loosely and makes real mistakes, Medium plays solid, sensible moves, and Hard searches multiple moves ahead (using minimax search in chess, checkers, four in a row, and tic-tac-toe, or weighted move scoring in backgammon and ludo) to play a genuinely strong game.

Is this collection free with no account needed?

Yes. Every game is completely free with no download and no account, and your stats save only in your own browser.
