An idle café empire, built one cup at a time

Coffee Shop Tycoon is a click-and-build idle game: tap the cup to brew your first coffees by hand, then spend them hiring baristas, espresso machines, bean roasters, delivery bikes, and eventually a full café chain, each of which keeps earning coffees automatically, every second, whether you're actively clicking or not. Each purchase costs more than the last, so the game rewards spreading coffees across a few different earners rather than maxing out just one.

The long-term hook is the prestige system. Once you've banked enough lifetime coffees, you can reset your entire shop back to zero in exchange for a permanent renown multiplier, a classic idle-game trade-off where starting over actually makes the next run faster. There's no cap on how many times you can open a new Café Chain, so the business can, in theory, keep growing forever.

Everything saves automatically on your device with no account needed. For other business-building games, try Bakery Tycoon or Kitchen Tycoon, both built on the exact same idle engine with a different theme, or browse the rest of the Cooking Games hub.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of game is Coffee Shop Tycoon?

It's an idle clicker (also called an incremental game): you click to brew coffee by hand, spend it on things that generate more coffee automatically over time, and watch your rate of income grow.

What does opening a Café Chain do?

Once you've earned enough lifetime coffees, you can prestige: your shop resets back to the start, but you keep a permanent renown multiplier that makes every future run faster.

How is this different from Bakery Tycoon or Kitchen Tycoon?

Same idle-clicker engine and progression curve, just re-themed around a café, baristas and roasters instead of bakers and grills, coffees instead of loaves or meals.

Is Coffee Shop Tycoon free with no download?

Yes. It runs directly in your browser with no download, no account, and no in-game purchases.
