๐งช Sort It Sideways
Tilt the whole board left and right until every tube is a single color.
How to play
- Tap Tilt Left or Tilt Right (or use the arrow keys) to tip the whole board.
- Balls slide toward that side and settle into the next tube, but only if it's empty or already topped with a matching color.
- Sort every tube so it's either empty or completely full of one color to win.
- Made a move you didn't mean to? Tap Undo to take it back.
- Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard above the board to change how many colors are in play.
A water-sort puzzle you tilt, not pour
Sort It Sideways takes the familiar water-sort tube puzzle and changes the core interaction: instead of tapping one tube to pour it into another, you tilt the whole board left or right, and every tube's exposed top ball cascades toward that side at once, as long as there's room in the neighboring tube and the color matches. A single tilt can send a ball traveling through two tubes in a row if the conditions line up, which makes planning a few moves ahead genuinely useful rather than optional.
The goal is the classic water-sort win condition: get every tube to either empty out completely or fill with a single matching color. Since puzzles are randomly generated rather than hand-verified for solvability, a free Undo and unlimited puzzle regeneration are built in, so a stuck board is never a dead end. Prefer picking a specific source and destination tube yourself instead of tilting the whole board? Try Potion Pour, the direct pour-based version with every puzzle verified solvable up front.

Frequently asked questions
How is Sort It Sideways different from a normal water-sort game?
Most water-sort games have you tap a tube to pour it into another. Sort It Sideways instead tilts the entire board left or right, and every tube's exposed top ball cascades into its neighbor at once if there's room and the color matches, which can move a ball two tubes in a single tilt.
What's the goal?
Sort every tube so it's either empty or completely filled with a single color.
What if I make a mistake?
Tap Undo to take back one tilt, including the move counter. There's also unlimited New Puzzle regeneration if a board feels unsolvable.
Can I change the difficulty?
Yes, pick Easy, Medium, or Hard above the board to change how many colors are in play.
