Hook it, lift it, swing it, and set it down gently. A helicopter physics game.
How to play
- Hold ↑ or W for more lift and ↓ or S for less. Tilt with ← → (or A D) to fly sideways.
- Let go of the keys and the helicopter hovers and levels out by itself.
- Lower the hook right onto the top of a load (it glows yellow) and press Space to hook it.
- Fly it to the green drop zone. The load swings: move gently and stop slowly.
- Lower it until it sits on the ground, then press Space to let go.
- Heavy loads pull you down, and fragile ones break if they bump into anything.
A helicopter physics game
Heli Cargo Lift is a free side-view helicopter game where the challenge is the rope. Your little cargo helicopter has a long cable with a hook on the end. Lower it onto a crate, press Space and lift: the crate swings underneath you like a pendulum. Speed up too fast and it swings out behind you; stop too quickly and it keeps going and swings forward. Every load has weight, so a heavy container pulls your helicopter down and takes longer to lift, while a little box barely changes how you fly. Getting a load to the drop zone and setting it down gently feels great.
Twelve delivery jobs
The jobs start easy and get trickier. First Lift teaches you to hook and carry a crate. Over the Wall makes you climb high enough for the crate to clear a wall. Rooftop Job puts an air conditioner on a roof. Heavy Load is a shipping container over a hill. Two Boxes is two trips. Fragile Glass squeezes a breakable pane through walls. Island Supplies carries three loads across the sea. Windy Bridge lays a steel beam across a gap in gusty wind. Ship Delivery drops a container on a moving ship. Stack 'Em builds a tower of three crates on a tiny pad. Car Rescue lifts a car out of a ditch onto a tow truck, and The Big Move carries a piano past walls to a penthouse in the wind.
How the controls work
Hold ↑ (or W) for more lift and ↓ (or S) for less. ← and → tilt the helicopter, which makes it fly sideways. When you let go of every key, the autopilot holds a hover and levels the helicopter, so you can stop and think. It even knows about the load you are carrying and adds extra lift to hold it up, though a heavy load still makes everything slower. On a phone or tablet, use the arrow buttons and the round 🪝 button.
Tips for smooth deliveries
Start slowly: tilt a little, let the load catch up, then speed up. To stop, tilt back early and let the swing settle before you lower the load. Climb before you move sideways, so the load clears walls and buildings; the rope is long, and the load hangs well below you. Lower the load all the way until it sits on the ground before you press Space, because dropping it from high up can break it. For the stacking job, place each crate in the middle of the one below. On the ship job, match the ship's speed before you put the container down.
Stars
Each job gives up to three stars: one for delivering, two for beating the par time, and three for also doing it with no damage at all. A hard landing or a bump into a wall counts as damage, and fragile glass or the piano break on the first bump, which fails the job. Stars unlock new helicopter colours: Harbor Blue, Forest Hauler and Golden Crane.
