🚁 Little Copter Rescue

Tap to fly! Help the kittens, puppies and ducklings get safely home.

A helicopter game for toddlers and preschoolers

Little Copter Rescue is a gentle first helicopter game made for children around three to six years old. There are no complicated controls: just tap the screen, or click with a mouse, and a smiling little copter flies to that spot. Animals all over the picture are stuck and calling "help!", and your child flies over to scoop them up in the basket and carry them home to the big heart pad.

Every rescue gets a happy sound, a burst of sparkles and a friendly spoken message, such as "Hop in, little kitten!" and "Safe home! Three more to go." The animals waiting at home bounce with joy, and the row of animals at the top of the screen lights up one by one so even children who can't read yet can see how many are left.

Six places, thirty animals

There are six colourful places to explore. On the Farm a kitten is up a tree and a piglet is stuck in the mud. At the Beach a duckling and a turtle are out at sea. In the Forest an owl and a squirrel are high in the trees. The Snowy Village has a kitten by a chimney and a penguin on the ice, the City Park has a parrot caught on a kite, and the Jungle has a monkey on a vine, a frog on a lily pad and an elephant in the river.

Saving all five animals in a place wins its sticker, and stickers unlock new copter colours: Sunny, Bubblegum, Splash and Leafy. Bubbles float up across the sky too, and popping them by flying through them is just for fun.

No timer, no losing

Many games for young children still have timers, lives or a "game over" screen, which can be upsetting for little ones. Little Copter Rescue has none of these. The copter can't crash, nothing chases you, and you can take as long as you like. Every animal you help is a success, which makes it a calm, confidence-building game for the very youngest players.

What children practise

Tapping where you want something to go is a simple way to build hand-eye coordination and early mouse or touch-screen skills. Spotting the animals that need help and planning "pick up, then fly home" is a small but real two-step plan. Naming the animals, counting how many are left and talking about where each one was stuck (up a tree, on the roof, in the sea) are lovely ways for a grown-up to join in and build vocabulary.
