An area and perimeter game where more than one answer is correct
Area & Perimeter Builder is a free math game built around resizing, not guessing. A target area or perimeter is shown, and you adjust a rectangular garden's width and height with simple steppers while a live grid preview and a running area or perimeter number update instantly. Click Plant Garden when the two match. Most rectangle games expect one specific width and height, but area and perimeter rarely work out that neatly. Plenty of different rectangles can share the same area or the same perimeter, and this game accepts any of them, which is the actual mathematical idea worth understanding.
There's no penalty for missing. If the current garden doesn't match the target, the exact number is shown and you can keep adjusting and try again as many times as you like. Six tiers separate the two skills first: small area targets, then bigger ones, then small perimeter targets, then bigger ones, before a mixed tier and a bigger-garden championship that combines both.
Every successfully designed garden earns a bloom, and collecting enough blooms unlocks a new theme, from the starting Seed Patch through Vegetable Plot, Flower Garden, Orchard, and the Botanical Garden. It's free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your blooms and best streaks locally in your own browser.
