๐Ÿถ Animal Memory Match

Flip two cards at a time to find every animal pair.

A friendly animal set for the classic memory game

Animal Memory Match is a memory matching game built around the same flip-two-cards format as the rest of AnonArcade's memory games hub, dressed up with twelve friendly animal faces instead of fruit or shapes. A match stays revealed, a miss quietly flips back over after a moment, and there's no timer forcing a hurried guess, just a move count and completion time tracked in the background for anyone who wants to chase a personal best.

Three grid sizes scale the challenge exactly like every other game in the hub. Small uses 12 cards (6 pairs) for a quick, relaxed round. Medium steps up to 16 cards (8 pairs). Large goes to 24 cards (12 pairs), a genuine test of short-term memory for an older kid or adult. Your best time and best move count are saved separately for each grid size.

Animal Memory Match is free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your best scores locally in your own browser, which also makes it school-safe on a shared classroom Chromebook. See the Parents & Safety page for the full privacy details, or try Emoji Memory Match for a different theme, or browse the rest of the Memory Games hub.

Frequently asked questions

How do I play Animal Memory Match?

Flip a card to reveal its animal, then flip a second card. If they match, both stay face up. If not, they flip back over after a moment. Find every pair to clear the board.

How is this different from Emoji Memory Match?

Same flip-two-cards format, different picture set: twelve animals here instead of fruit, so it plays identically but looks and feels like a different round.

Is there a timer working against me?

No. Take as long as you like. Your time and move count are tracked and your best for each grid size is saved, purely so you can try to beat your own record.

What ages is Animal Memory Match good for?

All ages. The Small grid suits a preschooler's first memory game, while the Large 24-card grid is a genuine challenge for an older kid or adult.
