How to play
- Move with Left/Right arrows, A/D, or the on-screen arrows. Walk into a crate to push it.
- Jump with Up, W, Space, or the Jump button.
- Push a crate onto a matching-colored switch to open its door, and leave it there to keep it open.
- Climb on top of a crate to reach platforms too high to jump to directly.
A puzzle platformer where the crate is the key
Switch & Shift is a puzzle-platformer hybrid: 5 single-screen levels (no scrolling camera needed, the whole puzzle is visible at once) built around one pushable object, a wooden crate, and two things it can do. Push it onto a colored floor switch and the matching door opens for as long as something is resting on that switch, so leaving the crate there keeps the path open permanently. Or push it under a ledge too high to reach directly and climb it as a stepping stone.
Every level is hand-built, not randomly generated, and solvable through logic rather than trial and error: work out where the crate needs to end up, then figure out how to get it there. Falling into a gap respawns you instantly at the puzzle's start with the crates reset, so there's no penalty for experimenting with a wrong idea first.
