🗼 Tower Stack

Drop sliding blocks to build the tallest tower you can. Perfect drops build a widening streak.

The classic one-button stacker, with a reward for precision

Tower Stack is the genre made popular by mobile hits like Stack and Tower Blocks: a block slides back and forth above your tower, and your only input is choosing the exact moment to drop it. Land it dead center and the tower keeps its full width; land it off to one side and only the overlapping part survives, trimmed instantly, which makes the moving block narrower for every drop after that. Miss entirely, with zero overlap, and the run ends on the spot.

That's the whole genre in one paragraph, but this version adds a real reward for playing precisely instead of just recklessly fast: land 5 perfect drops in a row (almost no trim at all) and the tower widens back out, buying you room to breathe before the pace picks up again. Speed increases gradually as your tower grows taller, so the early drops are forgiving and the later ones demand real timing.

No timer beyond the run itself, no lives system, just how tall you can build before one bad drop ends it. Your best height and score save automatically in your own browser (see the Parents & Safety page), and it plays the same with mouse, touch, or keyboard, so it's fine for a school Chromebook between classes. Frequently asked questions

How do I drop a block in Tower Stack?

Click or tap anywhere on the board, or press Space or Enter. The block slides on its own, you just choose the moment it drops.

What happens if I drop it off-center?

Only the part of the block directly over the tower below stays, the rest is trimmed away, so the tower gets a little narrower with every imperfect drop. Enough overlap loss and even a small misalignment can end the run.

What is a perfect streak?

Landing a drop with almost no trim counts as perfect. Land 5 perfect drops in a row and the tower widens back out as a reward, making the next few drops more forgiving.

Is there a way to end the run instantly?

Yes. If a drop has zero overlap with the tower below, the run ends immediately and your final height is shown. Your best height and score save automatically in your own browser.
