🚨 Hockey Shootout Overtime
A faster meter and a much tighter timing window. 5 shots, sudden-death stakes.
How to play
- Pick a target zone first: Glove Side, Five-Hole, or Stick Side (or press 1/2/3).
- Lock the power meter, it moves faster here and the good-timing window is much narrower.
- The goalie independently guesses a zone. Pick a different one with good timing to score.
- 5 shots total. Your score is goals out of 5, tracked as its own separate best.
The same zone-guessing battle, far less margin for error
Hockey Shootout Overtime runs on the same engine as Hockey Shootout, pick a zone, beat the goalie's independent guess with good timing, but the meter moves noticeably faster and the good-timing window is much narrower. Picking the right zone isn't enough on its own anymore, the timing itself takes real precision.
Everything else stays the same: 5 shots, goals out of 5, and the goalie's guess is made independently of your pick every time. This is the tier for players who've already got a handle on the standard shootout's meter and want the full sudden-death pressure.
Works with mouse, touch, or keyboard (1/2/3 to pick a zone, Space or Enter to shoot), no download or account needed, and your best shootout score saves automatically in your own browser, tracked separately from the standard game.
