⚖️ Equation Balance

Place numbers on a scale to make both sides equal.

An early algebra game where you feel the equation, not just solve it

Equation Balance is a free early algebra game built around the core idea an equation actually represents: two sides that must equal each other. The left pan always shows a fixed sum, and the right pan combines a blank number with a known number using addition, subtraction, or multiplication. Adjust the blank with simple +1, -1, +5, and -5 buttons, watch both pans' totals update live, and check the balance when you think they match.

There's no penalty for checking too early. If the scale doesn't balance, both current totals are shown and you can keep adjusting and try again as many times as you like. Six tiers separate the operations first, addition, then subtraction, then multiplication, before mixing all three and widening the number range for a championship round.

Every balanced equation earns a point, and collecting enough points unlocks a new scale, from the starting Bronze Scale through Silver, Gold, Crystal, and the Diamond Scale. It's free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your points and best streaks locally in your own browser.
