🧩 Pattern Builder

Complete shape, color, and number patterns.

A patterns game covering both shapes and numbers

Pattern Builder is a free patterns game for kids that covers two related skills in one place: repeating shape and color patterns, and number patterns built by skip counting. A sequence is shown with the very last item hidden behind a question mark, and the job is to spot the pattern and pick what comes next from a few choices.

There's no penalty for guessing wrong. A missed pick just asks you to look again at the same pattern, with no lost streak. Six tiers move from a simple two-shape AB pattern, up through three-shape ABC patterns and paired AABB patterns, into number patterns that skip count by 2s, 5s, or 10s, before a mixed tier and a championship round with longer sequences and trickier counting steps.

Every completed pattern earns a puzzle piece, and collecting enough pieces unlocks a new room, from the starting Rainbow Room through Puzzle Cove, Pattern Peak, Mosaic Garden, and Kaleidoscope Hall. It's free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your pieces and best streaks locally in your own browser. See the Parents & Safety page for the full privacy details, or browse the rest of the Math Games hub.
