A rush hour style traffic jam puzzle, with 8 levels and a daily puzzle
Gridlock takes the classic sliding traffic jam puzzle format and builds it out properly: 8 hand-tuned levels that grow from a 6x6 grid up to an 8x8 grid packed with vehicles, each one generated and then verified solvable before it's ever shown to a player, so every level has a real solution and a real shortest-path move count to beat. Every vehicle slides only along the direction it's parked, horizontal cars move left and right, vertical trucks move up and down, and the puzzle is won the moment your red car reaches the glowing exit on the right edge.
Beyond the level set, Gridlock has a Daily Puzzle: one new grid every day, generated the same way as the levels but seeded from the date, so every player gets the exact same board. Solve it to build a streak, and copy your result (day number plus move count) to share with friends, the same kind of daily hook that made word-of-the-day puzzles popular. Finishing levels also unlocks new goal car colors, from Sunset Orange to a Gold Chrome finish for clearing every level, purely cosmetic rewards tied to real progress.
Controls work with mouse clicks, touch taps, or a keyboard (arrow keys nudge the selected vehicle), so it plays the same on a phone, a Chromebook, or a desktop.
