⌨️ Spell Sprint
Type each falling word before it reaches the ground.
How to play
- A word drifts down from the top. Type it on your keyboard, letter by letter.
- No keyboard handy? Tap the letters on the on-screen keys instead.
- Finish the word before it reaches the bottom to clear it and start the next one.
- A word that lands unfinished costs a heart. Wrong letters just don't count, no penalty.
- Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard to change the words and how fast they fall.
Real typing and spelling practice, arcade-paced
Spell Sprint takes typing and spelling practice and turns it into a falling-object arcade game: a word drifts down from the top of the screen, and you have to type it out, letter by letter, before it lands. A physical keyboard and the built-in on-screen QWERTY keyboard call the exact same handler, so it works the same whether you're typing on a laptop or tapping a touchscreen, and the next letter you need is highlighted on the on-screen keys as a light assist.
Progress within a word is just "how many letters in are correct so far", so a wrong keypress simply doesn't register instead of punishing you, and only a word that reaches the ground unfinished costs one of three hearts. Three difficulty tiers change both the word length (3-4 letters up to 7-10) and the fall speed, so it scales from a first typing game to real speed practice.
Free, no download, no account. Once you've got the typing rhythm down, try Spelling Bee for untimed spelling practice, or Word of the Day to build vocabulary alongside your speed, or browse the rest of the Word Games page.
