🕸️ Grapple Swing Isles

Fire a real physics grapple, swing across chasms, and release at the right moment.

A real pendulum, not a canned swing animation

Grapple Swing Isles runs an actual pendulum simulation under the hood: firing the grapple attaches you to the nearest anchor point ahead of you within range, and from there your motion follows the real physics of a swinging rope, gravity pulling you back toward vertical, momentum carrying you past it. Releasing converts your exact swing speed at that instant into real launch velocity, so timing the release well genuinely matters, an early release drops you short, a late one can send you past your target.

3 hand-built island chains string together 2 to 4 chasms each, with a glowing range circle around every anchor so you always know what's reachable before you fire. Falling into a chasm doesn't send you back to the level's start, it respawns you on the last isle you actually stood on, so a mistimed release only costs a little backtracking, not the whole run.

Works with keyboard (arrow keys or A/D to move, Space/Up to jump, F or Shift to grapple) or the on-screen buttons on touch devices, no download or account needed. For a different momentum-based challenge, try Rolling Orb Adventure, or browse the rest of the lineup on the Platformer Games hub.

Frequently asked questions

How does the grapple work in Grapple Swing Isles?

Press F, Shift, or the Grapple button to fire at the nearest anchor point ahead of you within range. You'll swing toward it like a real pendulum. Press Grapple again to release and launch with your current swing speed.

What happens if I fall into a chasm?

You respawn on the last isle you stood on, not back at the very start of the level, so a missed release only costs you a little backtracking.

When should I release the grapple?

Release near the bottom or far side of your swing arc, when you're moving fastest toward the next isle, for the longest launch distance.

Is Grapple Swing Isles free with no account needed?

Yes. It's free with no download and no account, and your unlocked island chains and fastest times save only in your own browser.
