The fun is finding out what's fake
Trap Dash takes the "trick platformer" idea popular across the genre, levels that look completely ordinary until something you trusted turns out to be a trap, and builds it around 4 original hazard types: a trapdoor tile that cracks and drops away a moment after you stand on it, floor spikes that stay hidden until you get close and then pop up on a repeating cycle, a saw blade sliding back and forth along a visible track, and a block that hangs quietly overhead until you walk past its trigger point and it drops.
Death costs nothing but a moment: you respawn instantly at the start of the current level with your death count ticking up but no lives lost, so the whole game is about learning a level's hidden hazards through honest trial and error rather than punishing you for not already knowing them. Every level is beatable on a careful first attempt if you're paying attention, and each one tracks your own fastest clear time once you know the route.
Works with keyboard (arrow keys, WASD, or Space to jump) or the on-screen arrow and jump buttons on touch devices, no download or account needed. For a straighter run-and-jump challenge, try Pixel Platform Quest, or browse the rest of the lineup on the Platformer Games hub.
