🏃 Track & Field Sprint

Alternate left and right to build speed, clear 3 hurdles, and race to the finish.

The classic alternating-key sprint, with real momentum

Track & Field Sprint runs on real momentum, not a fixed auto-run speed: alternating Left and Right builds it up, and it genuinely decays if you stop, so keeping a clean rhythm matters more than just mashing one key as fast as possible. Pressing the same side twice in a row does nothing, you have to actually alternate.

3 hurdles cross the track, and clearing one cleanly just takes a well-timed jump as you reach it. Mistime it (or don't jump at all) and you'll stumble, a real speed penalty that costs you time, but it's never a hard fail, you keep running and can still finish the race. Crossing the finish line records your time, and since lower is better here (unlike most games on this site), your saved best tracks your fastest run, not your highest score.

Works with keyboard (arrow keys, A/D, Space/Up/W) or the on-screen buttons for touch, no download or account needed, and your best time saves automatically in your own browser. Browse more quick-reflex games on the Sports Games hub.

Frequently asked questions

How do I run faster?

Alternate Left and Right (or the on-screen Left/Right buttons, arrow keys, or A/D), pressing the same side twice in a row doesn't help. Your speed decays if you stop alternating, so keep the rhythm going.

How do I clear a hurdle?

Press Space, Up, W, or the Jump button as you reach a hurdle. Miss the timing and you'll stumble, a real speed penalty, but never a hard fail.

How is Track & Field Sprint scored?

Your finish time. Unlike most games here, lower is better, so your saved best is your fastest finish, not your highest score.

Is Track & Field Sprint free with no account needed?

Yes. It's free with no download and no account, and your best time saves only in your own browser.
