A multiplication racing game that makes times tables feel like a race, not a drill
Grand Prix Math turns times-tables practice into a real race: your car drives itself around the track, and every checkpoint stops it for one multiplication or division question. Answer correctly and your car gets a real speed boost, answer wrong and it slows down briefly, then the race keeps going, so there's genuine racing tension without a game-over screen. Six difficulty tiers move from the easiest 2s, 5s, and 10s tables, through the 3s and 4s, up to the trickier 6s through 9s, a mixed 2 through 9 tier, division facts, and a championship tier mixing both, roughly grades 3 through 5.
Grand Prix Math shares its car-unlock progress with its sister game, Speed Sums: correct answers in either game earn mastery points that unlock the same new car colors in both, so practicing multiplication and addition both feed into the same collection instead of two separate scoreboards.
It's free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your best race time locally in your own browser. See the Parents & Safety page for the full privacy details, or browse the rest of the Math Games hub.
Frequently asked questions
How does Grand Prix Math work?
Your car races around the track on its own. Every so often it stops at a checkpoint with a multiplication or division question. Answer correctly for a speed boost, or slow down on a wrong answer, then keep racing.
What difficulty tiers are there?
Six tiers: the 2s/5s/10s tables, the 3s and 4s, the trickier 6s through 9s, a mixed 2-9 tier, division facts, and a championship tier mixing multiplication and division.
Do Grand Prix Math and Speed Sums share progress?
Yes. Correct answers in either game earn shared mastery points that unlock new car colors in both games.
Is there a penalty for a wrong answer?
Your car slows down briefly, then the race continues. There's no game over, so you can always finish the race.
