🏝️ Dirt Bike Enduro Island
A whole island, 30 hidden stars and three rallies.
How to play
- Pick a bike and a ride, then press Ride! The Trail 250 is ready straight away.
- Hold W or the up arrow (GAS) for throttle. S or the down arrow brakes. A and D (or the arrows) steer.
- Stick to the brown dirt trails: they are the fastest. Grass is slower and sand is slowest.
- Ride up the wooden ramps to fly. In the air, the brake drops the front so you land level.
- In Free Ride, follow the yellow arrow to the nearest star. In a rally, it points to the next checkpoint gate.
- Ride into the sea and you are put back on land. Press R to jump back to the trail at any time.
An island to explore
Dirt Bike Enduro Island is a free open-world dirt bike game that you play in your browser. There is no track and no wall to stop you: the whole island is yours. Ride along the golden beaches, up the grassy hills, through the pine forests and all the way to the rocky peak of the mountain in the middle. Follow the dirt trails or head off across the grass, find the hidden stars and race the clock in three rallies.
The island is built in real 3D, about a kilometre across. Waves wash onto the sand, trees grow in thick clumps, boulders lie in the grass and little huts sit by the shore. A red and white lighthouse stands on the eastern cape. In the middle, the mountain rises far above everything else, and from the top you can see the whole island and the sea all round it.
Riding a dirt bike
Your dirt bike is built for rough ground. The suspension soaks up the bumps, the rider stands up on the pegs when you go fast, and dust flies from the back wheel. The surface matters: the brown dirt trails are the fastest, the grass is a little slower and the soft sand on the beaches really slows you down. Climbing the steep parts of the mountain is hard work, so take the trail that winds up the side.
Wooden jump ramps
Sixteen wooden kicker ramps are dotted along the trails. Ride up one fast and you fly through the air. You can see your shadow on the ground below and feel the bike come down with a thud. In the air, press the brake to drop the front of the bike so you land level. Land at a steep angle, nose first or on the back wheel, and you crash and start again from your last safe spot.
Free Ride: 30 hidden stars
In Free Ride there is no clock. Thirty golden stars are hidden all over the island: on the beaches, in forest clearings, on the summit and in the air just past the jump ramps, where you can only reach them by flying. A yellow arrow on the screen always points to the nearest star you haven't found, and the stars show up on the minimap too. Every star you find is saved, so you can come back and carry on later. Find 10, 20 and all 30 to earn your three stars.
Three rallies
The rallies are races against the clock along a line of checkpoint gates. Coast Run circles the whole island along the shore, with sea views all the way round. Forest Trail twists through the woods in the middle of the island. Summit Climb starts by the beach and climbs all the way to the top of the mountain. Ride through every gate in order; the next one turns green and the arrow points to it. Each rally has three time goals for your three stars.
Bikes
Stars unlock new bikes. The Trail 250 is light and easy to ride. The Enduro 350 unlocks at 3 stars and is quicker. The Desert Raider unlocks at 6 stars, and the Island King at 9 stars is the fastest bike on the island, with the most grip on the trails.
The sea
Ride off the beach into the water and you splash to a stop, then you are put straight back on land at the last safe spot. So you can explore every bit of the coast without worrying about getting lost at sea. If you ever get stuck in the trees or on a steep slope, press R to jump back to the trail.
Tips
Use the minimap in the corner: brown lines are the trails and the yellow dots are the stars. Ride along the trails to get round the island quickly, then leave them to reach a star. For the stars above the ramps, hit the ramp at full speed and keep the bike straight. In the rallies, don't cut across the sand to save distance, because the trail is faster.
Play anywhere
Dirt Bike Enduro Island runs in any modern browser on computers, Chromebooks, tablets and phones, with no download and no account. Use the keyboard, or the GAS, BRAKE and steering buttons on a touchscreen. Your stars and the stars you have found are saved only in your own browser. Crashes are a cartoon tumble with no injuries.
