🏁 Decimal Dash

Answer decimal questions to boost your car and win the race.

A decimal racing game that makes decimal practice feel like a race, not a drill

Decimal Dash turns decimal-operations practice into a real race: your car drives itself around the track, and every checkpoint stops it for one decimal addition, subtraction, or multiplication question. Answer correctly and your car gets a real speed boost, answer wrong and it slows down briefly, then the race keeps going, so there's genuine racing tension without a game-over screen. Six difficulty tiers move from adding decimals to one place, like 2.3 plus 1.4, through subtracting at one place, then the same two skills stepped up to two decimal places, like 2.35 plus 1.42, then multiplying a decimal by a whole number, like 4.5 times 3, and a championship tier mixing all three operations together, roughly grades 4 through 6.

Decimal Dash shares its car-unlock progress with the rest of the racing family, Grand Prix Math, Speed Sums, and Division Derby: correct answers in any of the four earn mastery points that unlock the same new car colors in all of them, so practicing any operation feeds one shared collection instead of four separate scoreboards.

It's free, works with a mouse, touchscreen, or keyboard, needs no download or account, and saves your best race time locally in your own browser. See the Parents & Safety page for the full privacy details, or browse the rest of the Math Games hub.

Frequently asked questions

How does Decimal Dash work?

Your car races around the track on its own. Every so often it stops at a checkpoint with a decimal addition, subtraction, or multiplication question. Answer correctly for a speed boost, or slow down on a wrong answer, then keep racing.

What difficulty tiers are there?

Six tiers: adding decimals to one place, subtracting decimals to one place, then the same two skills to two decimal places, multiplying a decimal by a whole number, and a championship tier mixing all three operations.

Does Decimal Dash share progress with the other racing games?

Yes. Correct answers in Decimal Dash, Grand Prix Math, Speed Sums, and Division Derby all earn the same shared mastery points that unlock new car colors across every one of them.

Is there a penalty for a wrong answer?

Your car slows down briefly, then the race continues. There's no game over, so you can always finish the race.
