Maze Muncher: Space Station
A derelict station maze where one patrol enemy can teleport near you without warning.
How to play
- Move with the arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen buttons. Your next turn is remembered even if you press it a little early.
- Eat every regular pellet to clear the maze and win the run.
- Watch for the ringed Warp Ambusher: every so often it teleports to a spot near you instead of walking there.
- Grab a glowing power pellet to turn every enemy vulnerable for a few seconds, then touch one for bonus points.
- The openings on the left and right edges wrap you to the other side of the maze.

A classic maze chase game with one enemy that skips the walk
Maze Muncher: Space Station keeps the same four AI personalities as the rest of the series, direct chase, predictive ambush, random wander, and the chase-then-flee Skulker, but gives one enemy, the Warp Ambusher, a real ability none of the others in this series have. Every six to nine seconds, as long as it isn't currently vulnerable or on its way home, it vanishes and reappears somewhere a few tiles from you, a genuine teleport on its own cooldown timer, not a scripted event or a faster walk. It always lands close enough to be a real threat but never directly on top of you, and a faint pulsing ring marks it out so you can tell at a glance which enemy might jump next.
Everything else plays exactly like a classic 80s arcade maze game. Movement glides smoothly between tiles instead of snapping, and a turn pressed slightly before an intersection is buffered and fires the instant it's legal, so tight corners don't need frame-perfect timing. Eating one of the four glowing power pellets still turns every enemy, teleporter included, pale and slow, letting you clear them for an escalating bonus instead of losing a life, and the wraparound tunnels on the far left and right edges of the station are there for a quick escape or a shortcut. Clear every pellet to win the run, or lose all three lives and try again.
If you'd rather face enemies that only ever move on foot, the baseline maze is Maze Muncher: Neon Grid, or for the same on-foot enemies at a faster pace try Maze Muncher: Candy Factory. For the hardest maze in the series, where two enemies actively work together instead of hunting alone, there's Maze Muncher: Haunted Manor.
Frequently asked questions
What makes Space Station different from the other maze games?
It has its own maze layout, and one of the four patrol enemies, the Warp Ambusher, periodically teleports to a spot a few tiles from you instead of only ever walking there. It's on a cooldown of several seconds and only happens while it's in its normal, non-vulnerable state.
Can the teleporting enemy warp on top of me?
No. It always lands a short distance away, close enough to be a real threat but never directly on your tile, so a warp is a warning to react, not an unavoidable hit.
How do I control Maze Muncher: Space Station?
Use the arrow keys or WASD on a keyboard, or the on-screen direction buttons on mobile. Your next turn is buffered, so pressing a direction slightly before a turnoff still works.
What does a power pellet do?
Eating one turns every enemy, including the teleporting one, pale and slow for several seconds. Touching one during that window sends it home for a score bonus instead of costing you a life.
Is Maze Muncher: Space Station free with no account needed?
Yes. It's free with no download and no account, and your best score saves only in your own browser.
