A kart time-trial where the weather is a real variable

Cloud Kart Dash is a top-down kart racer built around a single fixed stadium-oval track and a straightforward goal: complete 3 laps as fast as you can. Checkpoints around the track have to be hit in order for a lap to actually count, which rules out cutting corners without genuinely taking the shorter route through them. Steering is arrow keys, WASD, or on-screen Gas, Brake, and turn buttons, and driving onto the grass slows you down without ending the run, so a mistake costs time rather than the whole race.

What changes every single race is the weather, rolled fresh each time between sunny, rainy, and windy. This isn't cosmetic: rain genuinely makes steering slower to respond, and wind genuinely pushes the kart sideways, so the same track plays differently depending on what you're racing through. There's no live multiplayer here, it's a solo time-trial against your own best runs, with a local top-5 leaderboard saved right on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Is Cloud Kart Dash multiplayer?

No, it's a solo time-trial against your own best laps and a local top-5 leaderboard saved on your own device, not a live race against other players.

Does weather actually affect handling?

Yes. Every race randomly rolls sunny, rainy, or windy conditions, and each genuinely changes how your kart handles, rain slows steering and wind pushes you sideways, not just how the track looks.

What happens if I drive off the track?

Driving onto the grass slows you down, but you can always steer back onto the gray track and keep going.

How is a lap counted?

You need to pass through the track's checkpoints in order for a lap to count, so cutting corners without hitting them won't register.
