🌀 Drift Master

Real slip-angle drift physics: slide through 4 tracks and rack up your best score.

🏁 Sunset Oval (1/4) ⏱️ 60s 🌀 Score: 0

How to play

  • Hold Gas (or the ⬆️/W key) to accelerate, Brake (⬇️/S) to slow down.
  • Left / Right (⬅️➡️ or A/D) steer. Turn sharply at speed to break the car loose into a drift.
  • Score builds while you're drifting. Chain drifts together for a bigger combo multiplier.
  • Each run lasts 60 seconds. Beat your best score, or try a track's next unlock.
  • Different cars have different grip: lower grip drifts longer and looser.

Real slip-angle drift physics, not a fixed drift animation

Drift Master models the car's momentum separately from the direction it's facing, a real slip-angle system instead of the single-track drift-boost mechanic most browser drift games use. Steer sharply while carrying speed and the car's grip can't correct the difference instantly, so the back end slides out into a genuine drift; each car's own grip stat decides how quickly that slide gets pulled back in line, so a low-grip car holds a drift longer and looser than a high-grip one.

Four tracks escalate from Sunset Oval's gentle, forgiving curves to the Grand Prix Loop's full mix of sweeping corners and tight hairpins, each with its own 60 second timed run and best-score tracking. Score builds only while you're actually drifting, scaled by the drift angle and your speed, with a combo multiplier that climbs the longer you hold a drift chain without spinning out. Four cars, from a stable Street Spec to a loose Pro Drift, unlock as you clear more tracks, each with genuinely different grip, turn rate, and acceleration rather than just a new paint job.

Frequently asked questions

What is Drift Master?

Drift Master is a free drift scoring game. Slide your car through corners on 4 tracks to rack up drift score in a 60 second run, then beat your own best.

How does the drift physics work?

Drift Master uses a real slip-angle model: the car's momentum can point in a different direction than it's facing. Steering sharply at speed opens up that angle into a drift, and each car's own grip stat decides how long the slide lasts before it snaps back in line.

How is the score calculated?

Score builds while you're actually drifting, based on the drift angle and your speed, with a combo multiplier that grows the longer you keep a drift chain going without spinning out or losing the slide.

Is Drift Master free and do I need an account?

Completely free, no download and no account. Your unlocked tracks, best scores, and car unlocks save locally in your own browser.
