A pet-themed tile matching game
Pet Connect takes the classic mahjong-connect genre and reskins every tile as a real pet face: dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, foxes, bears, and more. A connection between two matching pets is only valid if it uses at most two 90-degree turns and never crosses another tile, including paths that loop around the outside edge of the board, exactly the rule used by classic connect-style tile games.
Every pet appears in multiple matching tiles rather than just one pair, so there's usually more than one way to clear a given tile, but the paths available shift with every match you make. If the board ever runs out of valid connections, Shuffle rearranges everything that's left into a fresh layout at no cost, so a tricky board is never a dead end.
Three board sizes (Easy, Medium, Hard) change how many tiles and pets are in play, from a quick small board to a genuinely large one that takes real concentration to clear. Like every game on AnonArcade, it's free with no download and no account, and your fewest-moves best is tracked locally for each size. See more animal-themed games on the Virtual Pet Games page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I play Pet Connect?
Tap a pet tile, then tap another tile showing the same pet. If a clear path connects them using at most two turns, both tiles clear. Clear every tile to win.
What counts as a valid connecting path?
A straight line, an L-shaped path with one turn, or a path with two turns, as long as every square along the way is empty. Paths can also route around the outside edge of the board.
What if there are no matches left?
Tap Shuffle any time, completely free, to rearrange the remaining tiles into a fresh layout without losing your progress.
What's the difference between the three difficulties?
They change the board size and how many different pets are in play, from a small, simple Easy board to a large Hard board with more pets to keep track of.
