๐ŸŒ‰ Bridge Bound

Build a bridge from limited planks to get the truck safely across the gap.

A bridge-building puzzle with real physics sag

Bridge Bound gives you a starting platform, a goal platform, and a gap between them that only a real bridge can cross. Each plank you add hinges onto the end of the last one and immediately reacts to gravity, so a chain of planks droops and sways the way a rope bridge actually would. Getting a truck across isn't just about covering the horizontal distance; a bridge that technically reaches the far side can still sag enough to drop the truck through if it's stretched too thin.

The puzzle comes from the budget: each of the three crossings hands you a limited count of Short and Long planks, not an unlimited supply, so spanning the gap exactly is a small combination problem. Sometimes two short planks fit a landing spot that a long plank would overshoot; sometimes you need every long plank you're given and a short one to finish the span.

Nothing about testing a bridge is punishing: send the truck as many times as you like, and a fall just means tapping Rebuild and trying a different combination. Free, no download, no account. Browse more logic and physics games on the Puzzle Games page.

Frequently asked questions

How do I build a bridge in Bridge Bound?

Pick a Short or Long plank and tap Add Plank. Each one hinges onto the end of the last one, extending out from the starting platform, until you've reached the goal platform or run out of budget.

Why would I use short planks instead of just long ones?

Each chamber gives a limited count of each size, not unlimited pieces, so reaching the far platform exactly is a small combination puzzle: sometimes a mix of short and long planks fits a gap that neither size alone can span within budget.

What happens if the bridge doesn't reach the other side?

You can still send the vehicle to test it, it'll just fall into the gap where the bridge stops. Tap Rebuild to clear your planks and try a different combination, no penalty.

Is the bridge real physics, or just a visual check?

Real physics. Planks are hinged together and sag naturally under gravity and the vehicle's weight, so a technically-long-enough bridge can still need an extra plank or two to hold firm.
