🧊 Isometric Snake Cubes
Classic snake on a real 3D cube platform floating in space. Don't slide off the edge.
How to play
- Move with arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen D-pad.
- Eat apples to grow longer, speed picks up as you go.
- Avoid running into your own body.
- There are no walls, sliding off the platform's edge ends the run.
A genuine 3D look, no 3D engine required
Isometric Snake Cubes keeps the exact rules of classic snake, eat to grow, avoid your own body, but renders the board as a proper isometric cube platform: every tile is a real 3-faced cube (a top face plus two shaded side faces), projected onto a diamond grid so the whole platform reads as genuinely three-dimensional rather than a flat board with a texture on it.
The platform floats in open space with no walls and no wrap-around edges, so the stakes are visual as much as mechanical, slide off any edge and you fall, ending the run the same way hitting a wall would in a normal snake game. Speed increases gradually as your snake grows, keeping the challenge escalating the longer you survive.
Works with keyboard (arrow keys or WASD) or the on-screen D-pad on touch devices, no download or account needed. For the classic flat-grid version with 4 selectable modes, try Classic Snake Arena, or browse the rest of the lineup on the Snake Games hub.
Frequently asked questions
How is Isometric Snake Cubes different from a normal snake game?
The board is drawn as a real 3D isometric cube platform, top face plus two shaded side faces per tile, instead of a flat top-down grid. The gameplay is still classic snake underneath: eat food to grow, avoid your own body.
What happens if I go off the edge?
The platform floats in space with no walls or wrap-around, so sliding off any edge ends the run immediately, the same stakes as hitting a wall in a normal snake game.
How do I control the snake?
Arrow keys, WASD, or the on-screen D-pad. You can't reverse directly into yourself.
Is Isometric Snake Cubes free with no account needed?
Yes. It's free with no download and no account, and your best score saves only in your own browser.
