The classic 10x10 block puzzle, no timer, no streak pressure
Block Puzzle Classic is the plain, steady version of the block-fit puzzle genre popularized by Blockudoku-style games: three simple pieces appear, and your job is to place each one on a 10x10 grid so that full rows and columns clear and make room for the next set. The piece set here is deliberately kept small (nothing bigger than a standard tetromino shape), so every drop is easy to read at a glance, and the pace stays relaxed rather than frantic.
Unlike its faster sibling Block Blast, this version scores every line clear the same way with no streak multiplier chasing you to clear lines back-to-back. That makes it a genuinely different kind of session: instead of optimizing for combo timing, you're free to plan a few moves ahead and think through the board shape at your own pace, which is exactly what a lot of players actually want from a block puzzle at the end of a long day.
There's no lives system either. The round simply ends once none of your current 3 pieces can legally be placed anywhere on the grid, and your best score is saved automatically in your own browser (see the Parents & Safety page for the full privacy details). Works with mouse, touch, or full keyboard control, loads instantly with no login, and is safe for a school Chromebook. Want more energy and a scoring streak? Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Block Puzzle Classic and Block Blast?
Both use the same 10x10 grid and 3-piece-at-a-time format, but Block Puzzle Classic uses a smaller, simpler piece set (no piece larger than 4 squares) and scores every line clear the same way with no streak multiplier, for a calmer, steadier pace. Block Blast adds bigger pieces and a combo streak that rewards back-to-back clears.
Is there a time limit?
No. There's no timer and no lives system. The round only ends when none of your current 3 pieces can be placed anywhere on the board, so you can take as long as you like on each move.
Can I play Block Puzzle Classic with a keyboard only?
Yes. Press 1, 2, or 3 to select a piece, use the arrow keys to move the placement cursor, and press Enter or Space to drop it.
Does my progress save?
Your best score saves automatically in your own browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server and no account is needed.
