How to play
- Your farm starts with one wheat field. Its bar fills up; when the label says Ready, tap the field (or press 1) to collect the money.
- Tapping a station that isn't ready yet gives it a little nudge, so busy fingers speed things up.
- Use the ⬆️ buttons under the game to level up a station. Each level earns more money, and levels 10, 25, 50 and 100 make it twice as fast.
- Buy the next station when you can afford it: chickens, then cows, apples, sheep, bees, pumpkins and horses.
- Hire a farmhand (🧑🌾) for a station and it collects by itself. Farmhands keep working while you're away, too.
- Press ×1 in the corner (or B) to switch to buying 10 levels at a time.
- Drag to turn the view and scroll or pinch to zoom in on the animals.
A cosy little farm that grows by itself
Idle Farm Tycoon is a free idle game where you build up a farm one station at a time. It starts with a single field of golden wheat swaying in the breeze. Tap it when it's ready and you earn your first few dollars. Spend them wisely and before long you'll have a coop full of chickens pecking about, a pasture of black-and-white cows, an orchard of apple trees, fluffy sheep, buzzing bee hives, a pumpkin patch with its own scarecrow and a ranch of horses.
Everything is shown in 3D, with a farmhouse and a big red barn in the background. The more you level up a station, the busier it gets: more chickens in the coop, more cows in the field, more trees in the orchard.
Tap, collect, level up
Each station has a progress bar floating above it. When it fills up, the label turns green and says Ready, and a tap collects the money with a satisfying clink. Level stations up to make every harvest bigger, and when a station reaches level 10, 25, 50 or 100 it suddenly works twice as fast. Deciding whether to level up your cows or save for the apple orchard is what makes it fun.
Farmhands do the work for you
Collecting by hand is fine at first, but a busy farm needs help. Hire a farmhand for a station and they collect it every time it's ready, without you lifting a finger. Once all your stations have farmhands, your farm runs itself and the money just keeps rolling in.
It keeps earning while you're away
Idle Farm Tycoon saves your farm automatically. Close the game and come back later, and your farmhands will have kept working at half speed for up to eight hours, with a message telling you how much they earned while you were gone.
Nine goals, from buying the chicken coop to earning a billion dollars, each give a star. Stars unlock new seasons for your farm: a golden autumn, a pink misty dawn and a starry night sky.
