Build your dream water park

Waterpark Tycoon Simulator is a free water park game that you play in your browser. You start with an empty lot, a ticket gate and some money. Fill it with twisting water slides, splashing pools, snack stands and sunbeds, open the gates, and watch the guests pour in. Then keep them happy: short queues, clean paths, full stomachs and a lifeguard watching every pool. A happy park gets a better rating, and a better rating brings more guests.

Everything happens in 3D. Guests walk in through the gate, queue at the bottom of the slides, climb the towers, whoosh down the tubes and splash into the pools. They float round the lazy river on rings, bob in the wave pool, buy ice cream and lie on the sunbeds. You can zoom right in on any of them.

Slides and pools

There are five water slides. The Body Slide is a classic open slide. The Tube Twister spins round and round. The Family Raft Slide is wide enough for a whole family on a raft. The Kamikaze Drop is a steep, scary plunge. The Space Bowl spins riders round a giant bowl before dropping them out of the bottom. For swimming there is the Kiddie Splash Pad for little ones, the Pirate Ship play area with its tipping bucket, the Wave Pool, the Lazy River and a Hot Tub.

Food, restrooms and the rest

Guests get hungry, thirsty and tired, and they need the restroom. Build a Hot Dog Stand, an Ice Cream Cart, a Pizza Shack, a Smoothie Bar or a Float Shop, add restrooms and sunbeds, and put bins nearby or the paths fill up with litter. Palm trees, flower beds, a rock waterfall and a dolphin fountain make the park prettier.

Lifeguards

Every pool and slide must be in sight of a lifeguard tower. A ride without a lifeguard shows a red ring icon, and guests have only half as much fun on it. Place towers between your pools so each one covers several rides.

Ride it!

The best part: click any slide you have built and press Ride it! The camera drops you onto the slide in first person, and you whoosh down your own creation, round every bend and into the splash pool at the bottom.

Three ways to play

Career is the main game. Day by day you grow an empty lot into a famous water park, with goals to reach: build your first slide, open food and restrooms, keep every ride in a lifeguard's view, welcome 60 guests in a day, reach a four-star rating, build a Lazy River and more. Goals give stars, and stars unlock new park styles (Pirate Cove, Arctic Splash and Jungle Falls) and the big rides. Your park is saved between visits. Summer Rush is a five-minute challenge: you have $9,000 to welcome 120 guests. Free Play gives you $150,000 and every ride unlocked, with no clock, so you can build whatever you like.

Tycoon tips

Start small: one slide, a pool, a food stand and restrooms, all in sight of a lifeguard. Watch the queues: a long queue means it is time to build another ride. Put bins next to every food stand. Click on guests and rides to see what they think. Press F to speed up time when things are going well, and save up for a Wave Pool or a Lazy River, which keep lots of guests busy at once.
