⛷️ Ski Rush 3D

Race down the mountain, ski the flags, dodge the trees and upgrade your skis.

Rush down the mountain

Ski Rush 3D is a free skiing game that is all about speed and quick decisions. You point your skis down a long, winding mountain trail and go. Slalom flags appear ahead: ski between them for coins. Trees, rocks, fences and snowmen block your way: swerve round them. Ramps send you flying. The trail twists left and right and the obstacles come faster and faster, so every run feels like a real rush.

It is a game anyone can start playing in seconds, but the later levels are a proper test of reflexes, especially once you add tucking and jumping to your steering.

Flags, coins and combos

The coloured slalom flags are where the points are. Ski between the two flags and you earn coins; ski through several pairs in a row and your combo grows, so every flag is worth more. Miss one and the combo resets. There are also lines of coins along the trail and over the ramps. Your coins go into your bank at the end of each run, and you spend them in the ski shop.

15 levels and Endless mode

Levels mode is a set of fifteen runs to a finish line. The first ones are short, gentle and almost empty; the last ones are long, steep and packed with obstacles. Each level gives up to three stars: one for reaching the finish, one for finishing without losing a heart, and one for skiing through at least 80 percent of the flags. Endless mode has no finish line at all: the mountain goes on forever and gets busier the further you get, so the only question is how far you can go.

The ski shop

Coins buy four upgrades, each with three levels. Faster skis raise your top speed. Sharp edges let you move sideways faster, which makes dodging much easier. The coin magnet pulls coins towards you for longer when you pick up a magnet. The start shield lets you bump into something for free at the start of every run. Stars, earned in Levels mode, unlock new outfits: Teal Wave, Purple Storm and Gold Medal.

Tips

Upgrade sharp edges early: dodging is everything. Tuck only when the trail ahead is clear, because tucked skiers turn more slowly. Take the ramps when you can, since flying over a row of trees is safer than threading through it. When a flag is next to a tree, think about whether the coins are worth a heart. And in Endless mode, slow down a little with S when the forest gets crowded; it is better to be slow than out.

A skiing game for everyone

Ski Rush 3D is friendly for younger players, with short levels, clear colours and no violence, yet the star goals and the endless distance give older players and adults plenty to chase. The 3D mountain, the snow spray from your skis and the rush of wind as you speed up make it feel like skiing, even on a laptop.

How the levels get harder

The first level is a warm-up: a short, gentle slope with flags and coins and almost nothing to hit. From there each level adds a little more. The runs get longer, from 700 metres up to two kilometres, the slope gets steeper so you go faster, and the obstacles come in bigger groups, with fences across half the trail and snowmen hiding behind trees. Some levels are skied at dawn, when the light is low and pink and the snow glows. By level fifteen you need upgraded edges, good timing on your tucks and a plan for every ramp.

If a level is giving you trouble, try a run in Endless mode to collect coins, buy an upgrade, then come back. A sharper edge or a start shield can make the difference.
